Who is Project One Auto?
Project One is an independent pre-owned dealership located in 15 minutes west of central Manhattan in Carlstadt, New Jersey. Project One was created to redefine the automotive buying experience on the principle that purchasing an automobile should be an enjoyable process considering it is one of the most expensive purchases of a lifetime. Management seeks to create the most convenient, efficient automobile buying experience by running a non-traditional dealership centered around the consumer and addressing current problems in the automotive retail industry. Project One's low overhead model, virtual warehouse and automated operating systems enable the Company to price vehicles more competitively than traditional brick-and-mortar dealerships and simultaneously improve the value proposition or convenience throughout the buying process. Project One acquires its cars from a variety of sources. Our cars are sourced through (i) local franchise dealership trade-ins and/or lease returns, (ii) nationwide auctions and (iii) customer trade-ins. We have relationships with dealerships and brokers and buy only the highest quality pre-owned cars. We have the ability to source vehicles across the U.S. to obtain the highest quality vehicles at the lowest possible price. We resell cars with clean titles only, this means we never retail salvage, rebuilt, reconstructed, insurance claim, flood or other gray market vehicles unless specifically noted. Can I have the car mechanically inspected?
It is our absolute mission for you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. Project One allows full pre-buy inspection of all its vehicles from any inspection service you desire. We also recommend and do offer extended warranties. What can I expect from my purchase?
You can expect great service, a great price and an impeccable car. We aim to describe the car as accurate as possible. We do offer only pre-owned vehicles and by definition our vehicles are not brand new. Most of our offerings are equal to first line vehicles sold in reputable franchised dealerships across the country. In fact, many of these dealers buy our inventory only to turn around and sell it at much higher prices. It is important when buying a used vehicle to understand that it is not brand new - it has been driven a certain number of miles and it only comes with one key, unless specifically notated. Our vehicles will be presented with good tires and no known issues unless otherwise stated.I am out-of-town, how will I get the car?
Project One uses a fully bonded and insured transportation service that will deliver the vehicle to your door. Vehicle delivery usually take between 1 and 2 weeks. We also welcome you to come to us, many customers book a flight into Newark, La Guardia or JFK Airport.Do you have all titles on hand for your vehicles?
We do not always have titles on hand for vehicles that are placed for sale, titles may be in transit from banks, from other dealerships, from the state, and a host of other reasons for normal processing delays in title paperwork. We are a licensed and bonded dealer in New Jersey and guarantee clear titles on all vehicles that we sell. What 'other' fees are there besides the purchase price?
The other fees include taxes, shipping and documentation charges. There is also a $195 documentation clerical fee for handling paperwork, filing titles, mailing and copying costs. This fee is fixed and non-negotiable.How is shipping of the vehicle arranged, can I get a quote?
